Fees & Insurance

Therapy

  • $315 per 60-minute session

Testing:

Fees vary based on the type and scope of assessment. I’m happy to provide an individualized estimate after an initial consultation.

  • I’m an out-of-network provider, which means I don’t bill insurance directly. However, many clients with PPO or POS insurance plans are reimbursed for a portion of my fee.

You’re responsible for payment at the time of service. I'll provide a detailed receipt (a “superbill”) that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.

Understanding your insurance coverage can feel overwhelming, especially when it comes to mental health services. If you’re unsure what terms like deductible, out-of-network, or explanation of benefits mean, learning the basics can help you make informed decisions about therapy or psychological testing. This article offers a clear breakdown of key insurance terms and how mental health coverage typically works.

If you’re planning to seek reimbursement, it’s a good idea to contact your insurance provider. You may want to ask:

    • Does my plan cover out-of-network therapy or psychological testing?

    • Is coverage dependent on diagnosis or pre-authorization?

    • What is my deductible, and has it been met?

    • How many sessions per year are covered?

    • Do I need a referral from my primary care physician?

    • What is my coverage for these billing codes?

      • Psychotherapy: 90791 (intake session), 90837 (60-minute sessions), 90834 (45-minute sessions)

      • Evaluations: 90791, 96127, 96132, 96133, 99447, and 99116

  • I accept Visa, MasterCard, cash, and checks. Payment is due at the time of each session.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please give at least one business day's notice to avoid a late cancellation fee. For psychological testing, cancellation fees vary depending on the type of evaluation scheduled.
